A.V. Hill is a writer of historical, fantasy, and mythic fiction. Her work is shaped by the fairytales and Celtic folklore she grew up with, and the adventures that have followed since. Through character-driven storytelling, she explores themes of survival, CPTSD, hope, and adventure.

After nearly two decades working with words in journalism and communications, she returned to study at the University of Oxford and was awarded a Distinction in the Undergraduate Creative Writing Diploma. She now writes from rural Yorkshire, where the surrounding landscapes and wild places continue to find their way into her work.

When she is not at her desk, she can often be found in the mountains of Wales with her wolfdog by her side.
